Coach Dylan Lane is a Junior at Mount Saint Mary College, studying childhood education.  Her goal is to be a middle school Math teacher.  Her playing experience includes Youth: Hyde Park and Newburgh Little League; Travel: 10U Fillies, 12U, 14U, 16U, 18U Rebels, 18U Debs; High School: Red Hook High School; and College: Mount Saint Mary College.  Throughout her playing experience, Dylan has played numerous positions including, second, third, shortstop, outfield, and her main position, catcher. In her spare time, Dylan is a volunteer firefighter. 

 

Dylan started coaching travel ball this past year, with her dad, Terry Lane. Terry Lane is a paid Firefighter at the Fairview Fire District. Terry has played baseball throughout his life. Like Dylan, Terry has played several positions, with his main position being a catcher. He has coached softball for 9 years, coaching many of the teams Dylan played on. Terry enjoys traveling and spending time with his daughters. 

 

When it comes to coaching, Dylan and Terry believe that hard work is the key to self-improvement and teamwork is the key to success. They believe that helping the players learn to love the sport and have fun on the field is the best reward.
